A Journey Led by God. A Vision Birthed by Love
A DIVINE BEGINNING
My journey into ministry began the very moment I stepped onto Ghanaian soil in December 1999—returning home after many years in the United States. I came with my own plans, dreams, and expectations… but God had a completely different agenda—an agenda that would redefine my life forever.
A Fast That Unlocked Purpose (2001)
Shortly after completing Bible School in 2001, I embarked on a three-day fast. At the time, I assumed the assignment was simple: to intercede for my mother, who was preparing to undergo a triple bypass surgery.But God had more in store.
Beyond the atmosphere of prayer and fasting, my calling came clearly—directly, unmistakably, and without confusion. I carried it quietly in my heart, guarded in prayer. And this is what I heard the Lord say:
“Declare My love and testify of My goodness.” Those words anchored me. They shaped everything that followed.
Confirmed by Scripture
I turned to the Word of God, searching for confirmation—and Scripture echoed the same divine theme:Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:5
“The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit…”
1 John 4:9
“In this the love of God was manifested… that God sent His only begotten Son into the world…”
These Scriptures—among many others—became the very foundation of my calling.
God demonstrated His love by giving.
He gave His Son.
He gave us hope.
He gave us life.
So if God gave… then we must also give.
The Mandate Became Clear
From that revelation came the theme that would define the ministry:
“Experiencing the Love of God in Christ Jesus.”
If this was the theme, then our activities had to mirror God’s heart.
Our ministry had to demonstrate love—not just preach it. And so, the expressions of Loving Heart International Ministries were birthed:
